🔔 HIRING: Accountant at The Milk Booster – NG

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, manage accounts payable and receivable, and record financial transactions
• Analyze production costs, monitor overhead expenses, and prepare cost estimates
• Develop and manage annual budgets, provide financial forecasts, and monitor budget adherence
• Prepare financial statements, generate detailed reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare and file tax returns, advise on tax strategies, and ensure timely payment of taxes
• Analyze financial data, provide insights for strategic decision-making, and assess the financial viability of new projects
• Confirm and verify payments, monitor payment schedules, and reconcile discrepancies

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures (GAAP)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables)
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree
• Additional certification (CPA or ICAN) is important
• Minimum of years experience in a similar role
