Job Description

Exciting position joining an awesome team in the Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation’s (EBDT) Talent Factory organization. The selected candidate will help support the Digital Presence Team in supporting existing deliverables like LDP Central, Mission-Driven Transformation, Knowledge Continuity, Power Up, Leader Hub, and creating new deliverables based off of business needs. The candidate will focus on design, development, and deployment of web applications, leveraging Amazon Web Services and leading-edge web development technologies. The candidate will be a junior developer on this agile team of developers, creating innovative solutions, assisting with technical task definition, and providing technical and architectural input.

Basic Qualifications


  • Build web application features in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to write testable code
  • Provide code reviews to fellow developers
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • A passion for creating high quality software and user experiences
  • Excellent professional communication skills
  • Understanding of Agile development process
  • Experience with web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript / Typescript
  • Experience working in command line interfaces
  • Understanding of Angular or React frameworks
  • Understanding of DevOps
  • Experience with source code control and management tools such as Git / Github
  • Understanding of SASS

Desired skills


  • Communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) & Lambda scripts
  • Understanding API Definitions and experience with SAM Templates
  • Experience with NPM, Mongo DB and/or Node JS
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Agile frameworks for project lifecycle and/or understanding of Agile development concepts
  • Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator (or equivalent tools)
  • Understanding of asynchronous request handling (AJAX) and formats, such as JSON or with XML Experience building Responsive web applications

Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
