Key Responsibilities
Operating the buttonhole machine:

  • Setting up the machine with the correct thread, stitch type, and buttonhole size based on garment specifications, and accurately feeding fabric through the machine to create precise buttonholes.

Quality control:

  • Inspecting each buttonhole for proper stitching, evenness, and size, identifying and correcting any defects.

Thread management:

  • Regularly monitoring and replacing thread as needed to maintain consistent stitch quality.

Machine maintenance:

  • Performing basic cleaning and lubrication of the buttonhole machine to ensure optimal functionality.

Following production guidelines:

  • Adhering to established production rates and quality standards.
