• Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Translator to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating a wide variety of content from English/Other Language to Chinese and vice versa, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and contextual appropriateness.
• This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent language skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents, reports, websites, and other content from [English/Other Language] to Chinese and vice versa.
• Ensure translations maintain the original meaning, tone, and context.
• Review and edit translations for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure quality and consistency in translation.
• Adapt translations to the cultural context and linguistic nuances of the target audience.
• Maintain confidentiality of all translated materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese Language, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a translator, with a portfolio of translated work.
• Native or near-native proficiency in both Chinese and [English/Other Language].
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both languages.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and differences between the languages.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with translation software tools is a plus.
• Certification in translation or a related field is a plus
• Experience with localization and cultural adaptation of content.
