Job Summary:

• The Data Analyst will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights to drive informed business decisions.
• This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis techniques and tools, particularly MySQL.
• The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Extraction & Management:

• Extract, clean, and organize data from various sources, with a strong emphasis on MySQL databases.
• Maintain and optimize databases to ensure data integrity and performance.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Develop and generate reports and dashboards to present insights to stakeholders.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support business strategy.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with business units to understand their data needs and provide tailored insights.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure accurate data collection and processing.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to improve data processes, including automation of data collection and reporting.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, techniques, and best practices in data analysis and database management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in MySQL, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and managing databases.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
