🔔 HIRING: Datacom Maintenance Engineer at Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. – NG

Job Responsibilities

• System Maintenance and Management: Be responsible for the daily monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and maintenance of the customer’s data communications network (including routers, switches, firewalls, etc.), ensuring the stable operation of the network system.
• Fault Handling: Respond promptly to and resolve various issues arising from network equipment, including but not limited to network interruptions, equipment failures, configuration errors, etc., minimizing business impact time.
• Network Planning and Optimization: Participate in the planning and design of network architectures, proposing network optimization schemes based on business requirements to enhance network performance and reliability.
• Project Support: Contribute to network construction projects, involving the installation, configuration, debugging, and acceptance of network equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time and with quality.
• Security Audits: Conduct regular security audits of the network system to ensure compliance with industry security standards and company security policies, promptly identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.
• Technical Training and Sharing: Participate in internal technical training to continuously upgrade personal skills; share experiences with team members to promote the team’s overall skill level.

Requirements and Skills
Education Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Communications, Electronics, or related fields.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in TCP/IP protocols and familiar with the OSI seven-layer model and the working principles of each layer.
• Skilled in configuring and managing mainstream network equipment (such as Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, etc.).
• Possess excellent network troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, able to quickly locate the root cause of issues.
• Knowledgeable in network security, with experience in network security protection preferred.
• Experience: Experience in data communications network maintenance or related fields, with experience in large-scale network projects being advantageous.

Soft Skills:

• Possess good communication skills and a strong teamwork spirit, able to collaborate effectively with different departments.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure, and adapt to occasional overtime requirements.
• Be proactive, eager to learn new knowledge, and keep up with industry trends and technological developments.

Certifications:

• Holding relevant network certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Huawei HCNA/HCNP) is preferred.

Language Ability:

• Fluent in written and spoken English
