Event: Beacon Talent Quest – Lagos (Benevolence Show)

About the Role

NOKT RECORDS is looking for a charismatic, versatile, and well-connected Event Host/MC to lead the stage for our upcoming Beacon Talent Quest in Lagos.

The Beacon Talent Quest is a benevolence project dedicated to discovering, showcasing, and nurturing fresh talents in cooking, acting, dancing, comedy, music and other creative fields. We want a Host/MC who can command the stage, captivate the audience, and leverage their strong industry network to secure an A-rated Nigerian musician as a Guest Artiste at a discounted fee in support of the vision.

This role comes with an excellent remuneration package for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Host and anchor the Beacon Talent Quest, ensuring smooth program flow and engaging delivery.
• Introduce contestants, judges, and guest performers with professionalism and flair.
• Keep the audience energized, entertained, and connected throughout the show.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure flawless execution of stage activities.
• Utilize strong entertainment industry connections to secure an A-list Nigerian Guest Artiste at a discounted rate.
• Negotiate and facilitate arrangements with the Guest Artiste in line with the benevolence mission of the show.
• Represent NOKT RECORDS as the face of the event, embodying passion for talent development and industry growth. 
• Miscellaneous as related to showmanship. 

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Event Host/MC for major events, concerts, or talent shows.
• Excellent stage presence, communication skills, and improvisation ability.
• Strong network and direct connections to Nigerian musicians and industry stakeholders.
• Ability to secure and connect NOKT RECORDS with an A-rated Nigerian Guest Artiste at a reduced or zero fee in the spirit of Benevolence.
• Energetic, professional, and passionate about youth empowerment and creative talent discovery.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
