Principal Duties
- Curate and execute all events for the company
- Provide quarterly in advance, a confirmed Events calendar for Members and for guests
- Identify and negotiate with potential sponsors and partners for events;
- Issue comprehensive Events briefs for planning and execution purposes;
- Coordinate all moving parts including identification of guest speakers, performers, guest chefs, sommeliers etc.
- Lead /support promotional activities;
- Prepare events budgets and ensure that budgets are maintained;
- Promote and sell function rooms for the brands.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure excellent customer service & quality delivery from start to end;
- Communicate, maintain & develop beneficial third-party relationships;
Job Description
Events Curator:
- Perform risk management to minimize risks. Resolve any problems that occur during events;
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for each event – databases, guest lists, invitations, budget & accounting etc;
- Manage enquiries/ meetings for Events;
- Identify potential clients for the companyand ‘sell’ the use of the same for external events.
- Identify low activity periods and maximize potential by procuring events that add value;
- Researching types of events, potential speakers, event planning and maintaining the events calendar;
- Identify and compare different vendors (decorators, photographers etc.);
- Liaise and Negotiate with vendors to obtain the most favourable terms;
- Carefully oversee the event & offer solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner;
- Organise and manage pre-event meetings with all relevant personnel
- Provide pre and post-event reports;
- Develop event feedback and other surveys;
- Assist with content pertaining to events for the Monthly newsletter;
- Perform any other tasks requested by management.

Educational, Development and Work-Related Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Prior Club experience is an added benefit
- Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience
- A good amount of Sales experience
- Knowledge of events curation through practical experience.
- Excellent knowledge of event management, public relations & branding acquired through college-level courses of study, training, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and contacts in entertainment/ wines & spirits environment acquired through five years of similar experience
- Must possess good office computer skills (i.e. – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Outlook, etc.) for business communication.
