Job Summary

  • As our Factory Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our woodworking factory, manage the production team, and ensure all custom pieces are made to exact specifications.
  • Your expertise in carpentry, measurement, and site surveying will be essential in ensuring quality output, timely delivery, and smooth coordination between the workshop and site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage factory operations, including planning, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Oversee production of custom woodwork – from cutting to finishing.
  • Interpret and execute technical drawings and client specifications accurately.
  • Conduct site surveys to take precise measurements and assess installation requirements.
  • Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure seamless workflow from factory to site.
  • Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and supplies; coordinate procurement with the admin team.
  • Enforce safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards within the factory.
  • Train and lead factory staff, promoting productivity and craftsmanship.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in professional carpentry or furniture production.
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop/factory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking machines, tools, materials, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, measure accurately, and conduct site surveys.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be physically fit and willing to travel to client sites when required.
  • Resides within or can commute easily to Awoyaya/Sangotedo.
