Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our finance team.
- The Finance Officer will be responsible for assisting with financial recordkeeping, reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.
- This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial principles to support the smooth operation of the company’s financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Support the finance team in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in preparing tax filings.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits and liaise with auditors.
- Assist in payroll processing and manage employee expense reimbursements.
- Provide support in maintaining and updating financial systems and databases.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial transactions.
- Assist with other finance-related duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2 – 4 years experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Excel).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
