Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install guide components, such as rollers, bearings, and frames, to ensure proper alignment and function.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on guide assemblies to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with guide assemblies, such as misalignment, wear, or damage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure guide assemblies meet quality and safety standards and comply with industry regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work with other teams, such as maintenance, production, and engineering, to ensure seamless operation.

Work Environment:

  • Steel manufacturing facilities, mills, or plants.
  • Potential exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND, NCE, OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO with at least 7 years of work experience.
  • Experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, or repair.
  • Knowledge of steel industry equipment and operations.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality control.
  • Physical ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
