🔔 HIRING: Laundry Facility Supervisor at Laundry DNA – NG

Scope

This is a supervisory position that requires laundry operations experience. You will be in charge of managing a comprehensive laundry facility handling and operations. This supervisory position is in charge of assuring the safe and effective operation of laundry equipment and team members. Candidate will also be responsible for accurate reporting of department performance and productivity utilizing excel, word, and any other reporting tools, as well as timely completion of job assignments with a high degree of productivity and optimism in a fast-paced workplace environment.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Thorough understanding of commercial laundry equipment, including but not limited to washers, dryers, sheet folders, steam tunnels, conveyor belts, ironers, and overhead transportation conveyors. In excel or other computer software, 
• Candidate would be needed to record daily productivity and evaluate daily ordering in excel or other computer software. This job will also track team members’ attendance.
• Candidate will supervise and organize equipment training, ensuring that all team members exceed high safety requirements.
• The candidate must have great troubleshooting abilities for washing equipment in order to address minor jams and/or loading difficulties.
• Excellent computer skills and software expertise are necessary. The position will need the usage of electronic MMS work order systems and company-specific applications on a regular basis.
• When working with steam and other high temperature equipment, the candidate will be required to exhibit safe work procedures and a strong awareness of safety regulations.
• When dealing with various cleaning chemicals, the candidate will be required to exhibit safe work practices and a strong awareness of safety regulations.
• Should be able to communicate professionally in all email correspondence.
• Will be required to hit deadlines and complete job tasks as set by leadership without direct monitoring or oversight.  Additionally, candidate will oversee hourly team members in their daily job duties and assignments.
• Must be flexible to schedule additional hours if needed for assistance with various projects or onsite coverage.
•  Will mentor and develop any entry-level jobs, as well as take responsibility for their exposure and advancement if allocated. In addition, must give teaching and praise as needed, as well as lead in daily contacts with team members.
• Will assist the team in adhering to corporate and department rules and procedures. Position may be necessary to impose consequences for infractions of certain processes.

Minimum Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in a leadership/supervisory capacity
• Committed to comprehensive and in-depth analysis, planning and implementation of every work task
• Strong computer skills (MS products including Excel)
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
