Job Description

• Our outsource company is seeking a Loan Recovery/Collection Officer to join our team. As a Loan Recovery/Collection Officer, you will be responsible for managing and collecting defaulters loans on behalf of our clients, ensuring timely payment and reducing the risk of loan defaults.

Responsibilities

• Contact defaulting borrowers on behalf of our clients to discuss payment options and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with defaulting borrowers, ensuring open communication and a professional approach.
• Monitor and manage defaulters accounts, identifying risks and taking proactive measures to prevent further delinquency.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of defaulters accounts, including all communication and correspondence with borrowers.
• Work closely with our clients to develop effective collection strategies and minimize loan losses.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Prepare and submit regular reports on delinquent accounts to our clients, including analysis and recommendations for further action.

Qualifications / Requirements

• SSCE / OND / HND / B.Sc.
• 0 – 1 year work experience.
• Proven experience in loan recovery/collection or related field.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Understanding of applicable laws and regulations related to loan recovery and collection

Remuneration

• Salary: N50,000 – N80,000 monthly
