Job Description

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lounge Supervisor to join our team at a reputable hotel in Ibadan, Nigeria.
• The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in hospitality, particularly in lounge or bar operations.
• The Lounge Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotel lounge, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff management, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the hotel lounge, including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise lounge staff, including bartenders, waitstaff, and hosts/hostesses, and provide guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of hospitality.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for beverages, supplies, and equipment.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge area according to health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service.
• Enforce compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of bar/lounge operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Lounge Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Solid understanding of lounge/bar operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Relevant certification in hospitality management is a plus.
• Must be flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
