Position Overview

• Our client is seeking a Nursery Teacher which will be responsible for nurturing, educating, and caring for young children.
• The job focuses on creating a positive and engaging learning environment for early childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational activities that promote learning in areas such as language, math, arts, science, and physical education.
• Plan daily lessons that are age-appropriate and incorporate play-based learning, structured activities, and creative projects.
• Manage a group of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Promote positive behavior, discipline, and social skills through various methods (praise, redirection, etc.).
• Foster a caring and supportive environment where children feel valued, safe, and emotionally secure.
• Encourage socialization, cooperative play, and conflict resolution.
• Observe children’s development and learning progress, making notes on areas of improvement or concern.
• Provide feedback to parents on the child’s growth and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues.
• Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss the child’s progress and any concerns.
• Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of children, including maintaining hygiene and safety protocols.
• Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and curiosity.
• Prepare and maintain learning materials, toys, and equipment.
• Ensure an inclusive environment for all children regardless of their backgrounds or abilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed. or a similar program).
• A specialized Diploma or Certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Montessori Training is often preferred.
• Previous experience in working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or
• Strong Communication Skills
• Essential to understand and support young children in their early development stages.
• Ability to design and implement engaging educational activities.
• Ability to handle unexpected situations or conflicts effectively.
• Ability to Plan and manage classroom activities efficiently.
