As an Office Specialist 1 you will facilitate the timely and accurate scanning and mailing of Unemployment Insurance (UI) correspondence, provide clerical support to the UI Division, and support UI departments with special projects.

Receive and assist with the daily cycle of incoming documents to ensure same-day completion of work to maintain unit and agency timeliness.Prepare and batch documents for scanning that have been received for units within UI and Paid Leave.Operate and maintain imaging scanner.Assist with special projects within UI departments to expedite timely completion that could affect a claimant’s claim.Assist other team members to ensure timely completion of duties, to include answering phone calls and assisting customers.For a complete review of the position and responsibilities, please .

One year of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; ORAn equivalent combination of experience and college coursework or training in a general office occupation.
