  • The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to manufactured products, machinery parts, vehicles, furniture, or metal structures as required.

  • 2 – 5 years of proven experience as an Industrial or Automotive Painter in a manufacturing environment.


The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to manufactured products, machinery parts, vehicles, furniture, or metal structures as required. The role requires attention to detail, good knowledge of painting techniques, and adherence to safety and quality standards to ensure a high-quality and durable finish on all products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming.
  • Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using spray guns, brushes, rollers, or other tools.
  • Mix and match paints to achieve the desired color and consistency.
  • Ensure painted surfaces are free from defects such as runs, sags, or missed areas.
  • Follow technical specifications and safety guidelines in all painting processes.
  • Conduct touch-ups and repairs as needed after inspections.
  • Maintain painting equipment and ensure cleanliness of the work area.
  • Work closely with the production and quality control teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and environmental regulations.

Education & Qualifications:

  • SSCE / OND / Trade Test Certification in Painting, Industrial Coatings, or related fields.
  • Relevant vocational or technical training is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 2 – 5 years of proven experience as an Industrial or Automotive Painter in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Skilled in spray painting, brush painting, and use of other application tools.
  • Good knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques.
  • Understanding of different types of paints, primers, and coatings.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
  • Ability to interpret work instructions and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety and environmental regulations relating to paints and solvents.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
