Job Description

• We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Pool Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests using the hotel’s pool facilities.
• The Pool Guard will monitor the pool area, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• The Pool Guard will work closely with the Director of Operations to maintain a clean and safe pool environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the pool area to ensure the safety and security of all guests.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations, including no diving, no running, and no glass containers.
• Respond to emergencies, such as accidents or injuries, and provide first aid as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe pool environment by monitoring water quality, cleaning the pool deck, and removing debris from the pool.
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests using the pool facilities.
• Assist with pool maintenance tasks, such as vacuuming the pool and adjusting chemical levels.
• Communicate with the Director of Operations about any issues or concerns related to pool safety or maintenance.
• Attend training sessions to maintain certification in CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification in CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a lifeguard or pool attendant.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance and water quality testing is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• The Pool Guard will work outdoors in the hotel’s pool area.
• The position may require standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
• The position may also require working weekends and holidays as needed to support hotel operations.
